Students and staff from Jacksonville Job Corps, implemented a green project that gave the volunteers an opportunity to learn the importance of making green decisions that will reduce the long-term impact on the environment. One of the activities the students worked on was cleaning up and improving the landscape of the Jacksonville Center. The students planted two trees and placed a tree marker to commemorate April 21, 2010 as Earth Day Every Day.
