Dignity U Wear

On May 5, 2012 4 students and one staff member volunteered at Dignity U Wear.   Since the founding of this organization they have donated over 6.6 million pieces of brand new clothing valued at 125 million dollars to more than 450,000 children women and men throughout the United States.  The organization depends on volunteers to sort through the multitude of new clothing that is donated to the center daily.

Students Sylvia Williams, Pamela Williams, Chanice Hobbs, Sabrina Satterwhite and staff member spent several hours sorting, folding and packing clothing. The students are committed to this ongoing project and look forward to volunteering as often as they can.
