Congresswoman Brown Visits Jacksonville Job Corps Center

Congresswoman Corrine Brown visited the Jacksonville Job Corps  Center on August 22, 2012 to provide a video message for the upcoming graduation.  The Congresswoman wasn’t sure if she would be able to attend the graduation but want to be sure that the students recieved her congratulatory message and words of support.  In her video message she encouraged the students to remain focused on their goals and to never give up on their dreams.  The Congresswoman is a long time supporter in Job Corps and believes in the program.  She said, “Job Corps Works and I know it”.

On August 24, 2012 the Jacksonville Job Corps center will host their summer graduation for the 175 students who completed their trade certifications.  Many of these students have started their careers, started college or is entering the military.
