The Iroquois Job Corps brick and carpentry students assisted with the building of the first upstate Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom at the Alexander Central School, Alexander, NY. Project elements included installation of 1,000 feet of stone pathway, 250 feet of concrete walkways, construction of outbuildings and landscaping. Along with the site preparation students assisted with the construction of classroom “stations” and the building of bridges, wildlife houses and bird feeders.
