A recent blood drive on the Iroquois Job Corps Center was sponsored by the American Red Cross, assisted by the Iroquois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students and instructors, resulting in 34 units of blood collected. Other upcoming community events include:

• Community Clean-Up/Earth Day sponsored by the Medina Lions Club 4/22/11
• Iroquois students and staff will partner with the Medina Rotary Club members to clean specific areas of the community  4/23/11
• Iroquois Job Corps students and staff will celebrate Global Youth Service Day at the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge located on Casey Road in Basom, NY.  The all day event is titled “Spring Into Nature” and will include guided tours of the wildlife refuge along with family oriented activities.  4/30/11
