The Iroquois Job Corps Center family (students and staff) adopted a local family for the holidays. Through a community outreach program of Community Action of Orleans and Genesee Counties, over 75 local families were provided assistance. This year the Iroquois students and staff members provided needed items for a family of 6 which included 4 children. The gifts included toys, family games, hats, mittens and clothing items, as well as a gift card to a local grocery store. Community Action also provided a food basket with a ham or turkey with fresh fruits and vegetables from area farms.
