The Iroquois Job Corps Center honored employer partners as part of “Celebrate Job Corps Day” and the National Job Corps Graduation Day with a luncheon that included members of the Iroquois Job Corps’ Community Relations and the Center Industrial Councils. A certificate of appreciation was presented to Brunner International, a manfacturing plant located in Medina, NY. Brunner’s has been a Worked Based Learning employment site for Iroquois students for about 4 years. Iroquois students are given the opportunity to learn hands on skills in manfacturing for a 12 week period and then the chance to become permanent full time employees.
