John Wright came to the Iroquois Job Corps Center in February of 2010 from Syracuse, NY with a high school diploma and 2 semesters at Onondaga Community College.  John felt that he needed extra training in order to obtain a better job to assist him in the financial cost of college.  While at the Iroquois Job Corps John has completed the Brick Masonry trade and excelled in leadership and the student mentor program.  John is currently working at Brunner International through the center’s worked-based-learning program.  Johnh will separate from Iroquois at the end of October immediately after the Fall graduation ceremony.  John has learned the Brunner International will offer him a full time position with their company.  He will continue saving money for the Spring semester at Genesee Community College.
