One of the most successful stories coming out of Inland Empire Job Corps has been the success of Benjamin Pryor. When Benjamin first came to the orientation he was a homeless young man without a job. He attended a Job Corps outreach when he first heard about the Job Corps Program, and upon speaking with one of the staff at the booth he decided to enroll. He entered Inland Empire Job Corps on November 16, 2009 and separated on June 10, 2011.
Benjamin accomplishments consist of obtaining his California Driver License; he completed his Culinary Arts & Cert Safe certificates. When it was time to separate, he left with a job at the Shandin Hills Golf Club. He also rented a room with his transition money and now has an apartment.
He recently got hired at another part-time job and came by to say he was still employed and very happy with his outcome. He thanked staff for their support in helping him to become successful.
