Faces of Job Corps: Guadalupe

Guadalupe was sure that her parents were not going to be able to afford her college education but going to school was incredibly important to her.  After struggling for a few years trying to get financial aid for school, she learned about the Inland Empire Job Corps and decided to enroll.  As a result Guadalupe has:

• Earned a certificate in Data Entry, Microsoft Office Specialist, and Advanced Word Processor
• Graduated with Honors in 2004
• Completed a paid internship with San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce
• Continued on with the Chamber of Commerce and is delighted with her job
