Members of Hubert H Humphrey’s SGA attended the Rally for Youth Day at the Capitol on February 21st. They met with all the other youth attendees at a rally and learned the protocol for legislative visits. They attended a hearing on the Environment and Finance and then met with their state congress legislators, Representative Alice Hausman and Senator Mary Jo McGuire. This visit gave the students an opportunity to see government in action and to voice their concerns about continuing training and educational opportunities.
