Hubert H Humphrey Job Corps Center is working with HIRED as part of the RENEW MN program.  Local businesses and colleges were brought together to design courses for advanced certification in industries that are advancing green technology methods.  These programs are taught at the colleges and paid for by ARRA funds through HIRED.  Admission into these programs is selective.  In the combined cities of Minneapolis and St Paul, only 500 applicants of all  ages will be selected.  Two of our students have already been chosen, have begun their college classes and will receive green certifications.
