HH Humphrey held a career fair on the campus. Students were the exhibitors, like CNA student Chris Russ who got the chance to explain his CNA/HHA trade training program to Paul Rheingans, Employment and Financial Coach for CommonBond Communities. CommonBond is the largest non-profit provider of affordable housing in the Midwest with more than 5000 rentals and townhomes. The career fair included information and demonstrations by all six of the basic trades on campus and the advanced trade, TCU. There was also a booth about Humphrey’s student government. Visitors included non-profits, potential employers and potential admissions candidates.
