The Community Relations Council (CRC) meeting was given a new twist this time around. Humphrey’s Culinary Arts students served a five course buffet lunch to 40 people, 10 of whom were students. All seven of the trades on center were represented and there was a student at each table. Robert Patients, chair of the CRC, welcomed everyone and did a quick overview of events on the center and the business of the CRC. The atmosphere was very convivial and the food got raves – especially the tuna steaks. Near the end of the lunch, each student stood and introduced the other members at his/her table and gave a few details about them. The community members applauded all the students for a fine job. It was a nice prelude to the holidays and it was great community relations.
