The annual fundraiser at the city zoo is five weekend days of creating a magical land of animals and fantastical creatures for small children and their families. From the animals of the alphabet to a tea party in the land of princesses and then to go on to the arctic, it is a tradition that families enjoy while their children are young. It’s also one of the largest fundraisers that the zoo has and, by charging admission for ZooBoo, it helps to keep this zoo free and open to urban families the rest of the year. Twenty-six Humphrey Job Corps students participated during the two weekends.
