Thirty Humphrey students volunteered for the annual Festival of Nations held in St Paul, MN. Students helped exhibitors from over eighty cultures set up their displays and then act as information guides and helpers during the days that school children come from all over the state to attend. The festival includes cultural exhibits, native craft demonstrations, more than one hundred dance performances, a bazaar and café. After the students worked, they were given an opportunity to tour and learn. This 83 year-old festival is a fundraiser that addresses the needs of immigrant women and their families.
