The Diversity Committee at Hubert H. Humphrey held a European Heritage event as part of its continuing series of cultural celebrations. All the students applied and received passports with their photos to begin their journey around European countries. Information about different countries was published in the daily Bulletin and on student-created posters in the Rec Center. As students “toured” they answered FAQs about the countries and had their passports stamped. Porsha Williams expressed delight answering Ednesha Twilley’s question. Students who filled their passports earned a treat bag. Frehiwot Yideg, Marcus Seils-Perkins, Nick Tanner and Kunphel Rangkor showed off their full passports to instructor Pam Gabriel as they left the event and a taste of Europe behind.
