Humphrey held its Academic Olympics with much excitement and friendly rivalry. Eight teams, one for each of the seven trades and one staff team competed. After a triumphal entrance march of the contestants into the gym, the elimination rounds began. The first part of each round consisted of questions in four categories: science, math, Olympic facts and sports trivia. A relay event, part two of each round, was a physical challenge for the team. Although the staff team tried very hard, Medical Office Support students won the gold medals and the cheers of the crowd.
