Hawaii National Bank came along as a Hawaii Job Corps staff referral. Hawaii National Bank was in need of a dependable and hard-working individual to become a member of their team. Career Specialist  Terrance White identified one soon-to-be program graduate to whom demonstrated the potential to be successful within their company. Shaiya Saizon was that graduate, and Mr. White took her to her first interview. After this interview was completed, Shaiya had to complete numerous mathematical, problem-solving and 10-key tests before she would finally be evaluated for the position.

A week after applying and interviewing for the position, Shaiya was called to join the Hawaii National Bank team as a Teller. After she was hired, she had to take a comprehensive exam after her first 90 days of work, and she passed with flying colors.

To this day, Shaiya remains employed with Hawaii National Bank and each time Terrance White attends the semi-annual Job Fair , Hawaii National Bank representatives always comment on how successful and an asset Shaiya is to their company and how eager they are to hire similar Job Corps graduates.
