On June 9th, the Hartford Job Corps Academy sent two students for a one-day internship with Congressman John B. Larson where the Congressman and his staff exposed the students to the inner workings of a congressional district office. Melissa Jackson, Student Government Association President and Jorge Andino-Sanchez, Student Leader, spent part of their day helping the staff prepare for the Call to Action: A Conversation on Race & Social Justice event scheduled for June 10th featuring members of the Congressional Black Caucus and Congressman John B. Larson.
