The Hartford Job Corps Academy recognized its Community Relations Council Chairperson and Deputy Speaker Marie Lopez Kirkley-Bey (D-Hartford)  representing Hartford’s 5th Assembly District for her commitment to the youth of Hartford on October 12th at the Developing Youth through Community Action reception hosted by Hartford Job Corps’ Business and Community Liaison, Brandon L. McGee. “I am truly honored to be recognized by the staff and students of the academy. The young people attending this academy are Hartford’s future, and I’m proud that I have been able to help get this program off the ground in Hartford,” said Kirkley-Bey. “I will continue fighting for more job training programs so that all of our youth may find good jobs and realize their dreams.”
