Enrico enrolled into the Hartford Job Corps Academy with the hopes of earning his High School Diploma and the skills necessary to start a career with. He chose the advanced manufacturing career technical training program. After a rocky start as a residential student, and a second chance living in the dorms on campus, he began making sound decisions that put him on a path to success. He excelled in both his high school classes and his trade. He earned his High School Diploma, became OSHA certified, and began an off-center work-based learning position at a local manufacturing company. He began to understand the importance of adherence to rules and regulations and was experiencing the pay off as he was hired permanently at Carey Manufacturing in Cromwell, CT as a CNC Machine Operator. Enrico continues to do well in his new career in manufacturing and we at HJCA are excited about what the future holds for him!
