The third annual soap box derby was held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Guthrie Job Corps Center. All of the trades built soap box cars out of used materials and had a great race. Both local newspapers were at the event for media coverage. The first place winner was the carpentry department. This event was great for showing good sportmanship and how to be a team player.
