May 17, 2011, the Guthrie Job Corps Center, along with coalition Job Corps Centers Tulsa and Talking Leaves, made an impact on the State Capitol Representatives. Culinary Arts prepared and served food, carpentry and computer technology set up tables to show the visitors what the Guthrie Job Corps Center has to offer and admission counselors were there to answer questions about the process of enrolling in Job Corps. Brochures were passed out and pictures with Governor Mary Fallin, Lt. Governor Todd Lamb and Representative Jason Murphy were taken with the Guthrie Team.
