On Saturday 3/4/23 two CSD Outreach and Admission Staff had the honor of assisting the Oklahoma Successful Adulthood (OKSA) organization in hosting their first annual Ready, Set, Success Event. This is done in a classroom setting where DHS Young adults ages 14-18 and DHS workers in and around Garfield county came together to have an educational class that discussed and taught the importance of education, transportation and important documentation and how to obtain or maintain them. Staff was given about 10 minutes, along with Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Autry Technology Centers and Northern Oklahoma College to speak to the entire class about what our program had to offer in terms of career paths, education and life skills.
