On Friday, 9/27, the Guthrie Job Corps College Students visited the Buddha Mind Monastery, one of only nine in the United States. They were greeted by Jianhao Shifu, the Buddhist Master, and given a tour of the Monastery. Students were invited to participate in a 30 minute meditation exercise in an open-minded atmosphere in order to inspire them to reach your full potential. A traditional tea was served after meditation by our hosts along with snacks. The Students enjoyed learning about the Buddhist Culture and what Buddhism is all about.
