Colonel Mike Thompson was  guest speaker at the Guthrie Job Corps Centers Summer Graduation Ceremony held on September 10, 2010.  Commander of the 90th Troop  of the Oklahoma Army National Guard.  Colonel Thompson was one of the first responders to the 1995 Alfred P. Murrah bombing in Oklahoma City.  Guthrie Job Corps Center  had 226 graduates.
