The Annual 89er’s Day Parade held in Guthrie was a huge success this year. The weather was beautiful and there were over 200 parade entries. One of which was the Guthrie Job Corps Centers Tiger Executive Float. The float was named “Horseman’s Heritage” with a huge horse made out of crushed paper which stood right in the very center. The float was awesome, completed by the Tiger Executives all dressed in western attire. The float was so awesome it was selected as the “Grand Prize Winner for 2011” winning 1st place with $750.00 prize money. Thanks Tiger Team for a great job.
