Thabani Thorpe enrolled into the Glenmont Job Corps Center on December 2, 2014 and he completed the Facility Maintenance trade. Thabani participated in the center’s Work Based Learning program at Colonial Acres Golf Club.  He has also worked with the center’s Maintenance and Logistics Department where he has demonstrated both great work ethic and technical competence.

Thabani is always striving to achieve more and his efforts were recently recognized at the Awards Assembly for his community service building the Nature Trail at Colonie Acres Golf Course.   Thabani submitted his application for consideration, and was accepted, to study in the TCU/IAM advanced training program at the St. Louis Job Corps Center.

On November 30, 2015 Thabani will be transferring from Glenmont to St. Louis to pursue this great opportunity. We wish him all the best.
