On Saturday April 29, 2016, Glenmont Job Corps Center students Brandon Krenzer, Janiah Brunson and Kiron Nelson volunteered at Albany’s Capital City Rescue Mission where they served lunch to homeless men and women in the capital district. “Our partnership with CCRM provides an ongoing opportunity for our students to tour the shelter and serve lunch,” says Peer Leadership Coordinator Ms. Watts. On Saturday May 14, 2016, another group of students will have another opportunity to serve lunch to the needy.  This type of community service gives our students a chance to give back to our community and help others.
