One of the most used areas at Glenmont Job Corps Center  Recreation Building is the gym.  The gym has hosted all kinds of events like basketball, kickball, soccer, and more. Because of its great use, the gymnasium had diminished over time.  The Recreation Center is very excited to announce that over break the gym got a much needed mini-makeover!

 During the winter break while the majority of students were gone, the walls received fresh paint, new wall pads were installed, and of course the gymnasium floor was redone!  “We’re very thrilled to have it accomplished for them,” said Recreation Supervisor,Gym photo 1-12-16 Mr. O’Brey. “It needed to be redone and our students deserved this. I am anticipating that the excitement and sense of pride they have shown thus far will stay.” Recreation would like to thank everyone for all the help and hard work while this project was completed!
