Glenmont Job Corps Academy Auto Instructor George van der Wouden and a group of Job Corps students recently volunteered at Habitat for Humanity.
The team from Job Corps assisted with organization of supplies and materials, examined the devastated areas of town damaged by Hurricane Irene and assisted in the movement of some tools back to the Habitat store.
“I applaud the Job Corps students for their efforts to assist Habitat for Humanity,” said van der Wouden. “Due to their assistance, Habitat will be better able to function and assist others,” he added.
