On Wednesday, October 21st, Glenmont JCC Security student Mr. Eduardo Benitez had the opportunity to participate in some area canvassing with CTS Tia Calkin. This effort generated an opportunity for him to apply for work at the Professional Security Training Institute, located in Johnstown, NY and create a potential business relationship. That day, he was also able to inquire with several other prospective employers, including Benjamin Moore, a chemical plant whose contract is managed by US Security Associates. We are thankful for the assistance of CTS Ms. Calkin. Mr. Benitez plans to follow up on all submitted applications no later than next Wednesday, October 28th.  As of Thursday, October 22, Mr. Benitez has received his NYS Driver License. This exciting news will certainly enhance his employability.
