On Friday, October 2nd, some current and former Reading 1 students went on a field trip to the New York State Museum in Albany. This field trip was used as an incentive for good classroom behavior, as students that received weekly CSSR scores of 4 and 5 were selected to attend. The students in attendance were Caprice Bellinger, Nakaya Belton, Janiah Brunson, Larisa Bryan, Kaylee Burns, Angela Pena and Amber Wilder. The students completed observation forms based on several different exhibits. The exhibits that interested the students the most were the Ice Age Hunters, Native People of New York, the Neighborhood School Room, the Shaker Classroom and the Three Sisters exhibit. Everyone on the field trip seemed to really enjoy their time at the museum!
