An interest meeting was held last week by Peer Leadership Coordinator, Ms. Watts, for Glenmont’s Executive SGA Board. The outcome was amazing, as students from all dorms came to the meeting eager to step
up and affect real change on Center. Leadership positions and their duties were discussed and students left the meeting with a new perspective on what it takes to be a leader. This week many of those students turned
in their leadership application with the appropriate signatures and scores from all departments. The final decision was made and the SGA Executive Board members are:
President: Nelson Rodriquez
Vice President: Brandi-Denise Belle
Secretary: Davaughn Gregory
Treasurer: Elquan King
Sargent at Arms: Kavita Bridgelall
Chief of Justice: William Gilbert
All of these student leaders exhibit great leadership qualities and bring so many fresh ideas and
enthusiasm to Glenmont Job Corps Center. The staff is looking forward to working with these young
men and women to cultivate change and bring the leadership at Glenmont Job Corps to another level.
