Ms. Van der Wouden, Reading Instructor, and the Auto Technology Instructors Mr. De Salvatore and Mr. Van der Wouden teamed up for an Applied Academics session that focused on Driver Education and the “rules of the road” set by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles. This session quizzed students to see how much they already knew and understood about obtaining a Driver’s License and the rules that apply to all drivers in NYS. The Auto Technology students were engaged and enjoyed this learning activity. When the session was over, Ms. Van der Wouden treated students to her homemade Banana Cake Sticks.
