A recent Electronic Health Records Specialist (EHRS) from Glenmont Job Corps Academy recently gained employment at E-Biz Docs, a local document scanning service bureau. A student of the Medical Office Support (MOS) trade, she successfully completed three separate TARS: CMAA, Billing and Coding and EHRS certification. As a result of her hard work work and leadership, the student was selected to participate in an off-center Work Based Learning opportunity with E-Biz Docs. The company was pleased with her job performance during the Work-Based Learning period and offered her a full time position at their company upon graduation, meeting the students’ MAC10 goals.
