Glenmont Job Corps Center was honored to have Congressman Paul Tonko speak at the graduation ceremony which was held on August  19,2016.  Congressman Tonko spoke encouraging words to our graduates, sharing a story of how his own election defeat led him to his current success. He said, “Each of us is a vessel with talents to share to improve our lives and the lives of others.”

After the ceremony,Congressman Tonko took time to interact with many of the students and their family members on an individual basis, calling them by name and asking questions as to their future plans. He also took time to have group and individual photos taken. He and his associate, Mr. Dan Paluso,  joined in on the luncheon following the ceremony.

We thank Congressman Tonko for taking time out of his busy schedule to participate and visit as we celebrated our recent graduates.
