On June 1st, 2016 our Outreach and Admis-sions Director, Ms. Gayle Paulsey, arranged for seven AmeriCorps members to visit GJCC. During an afternoon assembly they did a presentation of the AmeriCorps NCCC and FEMACorps programs. Students were engaged during the presentation and several asked questions during the Q&A portion of the program. This presentation raised awareness to our students that Ameri-Corps and FEMACorps are also good options to obtain great work experience and references for their resumes. We thank those who came to share the information with our students and Ms. Pausley for arranging this opportunity for our students.
