During the Make A Difference Day activities, Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center students partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Grand Rapids and assisted with 4 area construction projects.  Facility Maintenance and Carpentry students volunteered for the day a the local Habitat ReStore helping to move construction materials to job sites, while groups of students and staff volunteered at three different build site locations throughout the local neighborhood.  Overall, the experience gave students an opportunity to see all the hard work that goes into building and renovating a home and provided students with a chance to give back to their local community!
