GJCC Trade students used their creativity and skills to design a float for one of the nation’s largest homecoming parades. The University of Florida in Gainesville, FL hosted its’ 88th Annual Homecoming Parade. The theme was “Life in the Swamp”.
Students from the Advanced Solar, Carpentry and Painting classes worked tiredlessly building a float and on November 4, in front of thousands of cheering Gator Fans, the students showcased their float as they marched in the homecoming parade.
GJCC students participate in the community’s homecoming parade every year and each year, students and staff say it gets bigger and better…they love being a part of what fans call “Gator Nation.”
