The Gainesville Job Corps students and staff emphatically “thanked” their administrative assistants, teachers and nurses the weeks of April 27th through May 13- April 27 was Administrative Assistant day. The Center Director, Sam Kolapo, showed his appreciation by hosting a breakfast in honor of the administrative staff. All 11 administrative assistants received a personalized Hallmark thank you card and a $50 gift card to Target.
Tuesday, May 11th, nearly 50 Instructors and 2 nurses were celebrated for National Teacher’s Week and National Nurses day. Culinary Arts students prepared a savory lunch and prepared the tables. The instructors and nurses received a desk watch and a plethora of thanks and accolades for their dedication and commitment to the GJCC students.
Instructors, nurses and the administrative team remarked how appreciated they felt, some even shed some tears of joy!
