The center continues to be a good corporate citizen in the community:
o We are proud to share that we were named the Top Blood Donor by LifeSouth of all schools and educational facilities in Alachua County on January 20, 2011.
o Currently, we are collecting money for March of Dimes, so far we’ve collected over $550.
o Our construction students assisted the N. FL Extreme Home Makeover the last week of January/February and helped a local family give their home a facelift.
o Our Career Services Development department continues its’ partnership w/ Alachua County Schools and reads to elementary school children on a weekly basis.
o Students continue to help feed the homeless on a biweekly basis at the St. Francis Homeless Shelter.
o Quarterly the center continues to keep the community beautiful through beautification projects such as highway clean up projects and graffiti abatement.
