Students and Staff at the Gainesville Job Corps Center helped put thanksgiving dinner on the table of 15 families this holiday season. Staff donated non perishable items and gave generously, while students used their creativity to decorate boxes.

Monday, November 21st, the Center donated ten fully stuffed, vibrantly decorated thanksgiving boxes and turkeys to 10 Duval Elementary School families. The remaining boxes and turkeys were given to families identified by community partner, CDS Family & Behavioral Health Services.

Every year staff and students look forward to decorating the boxes and giving.
“Giving makes the holiday season meaningful,” said one GJCC student.
