Job Corps Works for Employers! Securitas is an international security contractor and one of our sites is the SiVance LLC plant in Gainesville, Florida. Securitas and SiVance are both thankful to the Job Corps Center for training highly skilled, dedicated and committed individuals who are ready to make a difference in the workforce and become viable members of our community.

SiVance is a manufacturer of specialty, silicone based chemicals. Our Job Corps Work Based Learning students are given the opportunity to put into practice the skills in Homeland Security that they have learned at the Gainesville Job Corps Center.

Thanks to the Gainesville Job Corps Center, last year, Securitas has been able to strengthen its’ employee base, not only in Gainesville but also in other areas throughout Florida, by hiring three graduates of Gainesville Job Corps where they were skilled in not only the basics of site and personnel safety, security and access, but specifically for our site they have been given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with C.F.A.T.S (Chemical Facility Anti Terrorism Standards).

The community of Gainesville is very fortunate to have the Job Corps Center. Both, Securitas and Sivance LLC, are thankful for the Job Corps’ students and we are committed to continuing our partnership with the center. Again, Job Corps Works for Employers!
