The CTS department partnered with an out of state training company in January to recruit Job Corps students for an immediate employment opportunity. We had 42 students take advantage of the opportunity. The pay was $9.00 an hour. The students worked 20 hours. Students had an opportunity to gain valuable emergency preparedness training from the Florida National Guard responders and they had an opportunity to role play.
