Ms. Natasha Williams, RN, native of San Diego, California granted the wish of Jessica Jarman to meet a young successful nurse. Ms. Williams was elated to inspire our Women To Be group held by Ms. Canady and Ms. Rolley. Ms. Williams received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at JSU in April 2013. Currently, she is a Gadsden Regional Medical Center Orthopedic/Medical Surgical Nurse and Charge Nurse at the age of 25. Ms. Williams expressed to our Women To Be Students, the importance of not being ashamed of your struggles, it will build you up. She encouraged the girls to never give up no matter how long it takes to achieve a goal. If you fail a test, study correctly and take the test again. “True independence and self-gratification can be reached through education and relentless training,” stated Ms. Williams on their success.
