5.3.16 The Gadsden Job Corps Center welcomes our first Hotel and Lodging Work-Base Learning (WBL) site into the “GJCC WBL Family”. A newly renovated motel in our area, Garden Inn, has become our newest off-Center WBL site. The motel is located on Grand Avenue (U.S. Highway 77) near Interstate 59 and specialize in making people feel at home while on a trip. The new owner, Mr. Narhari Patel states that he is looking forward to mentoring and training student Jacoba Pope and working with other students from Hotel and Lodging. Jacoba states that she is looking forward to the opportunity to work with Mr. Patel and the staff at Garden Inn. Jacoba enjoys working with people and wants to help guests as they arrive at the motel. The Gadsden Job Corps Center thanks Garden Inn for allowing us to have this partnership and will look forward to a successful future.
