5.16.16 Ms. Sherry Hixon, Academic Manager, met with Dr. Linda Mitchell, Associate Professor of Secondary Education of Jacksonville State University (JSU) to begin the scheduling process of JSU Student Teachers. In addition, the Center conducted Orientation for our new JSU Student Teachers to familiarize them with the Job Corps Program. This week JSU Student Teachers began their internship. JSU Student Teachers are working with our Academic Instructors in our Reading and Math classes to assist our students in improving their proficiency skills. The Center is very excited about this new partnership and how it will benefit our students. There have been 5 JSU Student Teachers working with over 20 Job Corps Students last week. Thanks JSU!!!
