On Thursday, March 31, 2016, Gadsden’s Student Government Association (SGA) hosted a blood drive for Life South. There were over 43 students who donated blood. The Center collected a number of pints of blood. Life South said that Gadsden Job Corps helps provide the highest quality all-volunteer blood components to our community. Each blood donation can save as many as three lives, and the efforts of our staff and students will make a lifesaving difference to many people in their time of need.
